I know any colour of stretch marks is probably annoying to you if you have them right now but believe it or not white stretch marks is actually a good sign!
This colour usually signals that your skin has started to regenerate and trying to heal itself! So most people would be happy to have white coloured scars rather than red stretch marks, which are usally relatively new and if left to heal on their own can take a while to reach the regenerative stage.
If you have bright coloured stretch marks that seem really noticeable and you’d like to reduce them to white silvery lines then here are the best things you can do to help the process along.
If you already have white coloured scars then the following tips can be applied to fade them even more, sometimes to the point where they have almost completely disappeared.
How To Get Rid of White Stretch Marks
1. A lot of people say ‘time is a healer’. But when you have stretch marks, that time can take too long. If left on their own they will lose their brightness and will fade over time.
Since our bodies heal at different rates etc here’s what you can do to speed up the process.
2. Eating a healthier diet filled with the vitamins and minerals that your skin needs to stay healthy will help improve the appearance of your scars. We rush out and buy creams with vitamins but when it comes to feeding our body with vitamins internally we don’t seem to bother as much.
If your skin receives vitamins internally and externally it will respond better to treatments, such as creams and oils.
Increasing your intake of water keeps your body and skin hydrated and allows it to perform its processes properly. Dehydrated skin isn’t flexible so you’ll be prone to future stretch marks if you don’t drink plenty of water.
3. As well as keeping your body hydrated from the inside you should also invest in a cream or oil designed for stretch marks. Making good lifestyle changes to help your skin from within will provide a good environment for the stretch mark cream to do its job.
White stretch marks are easier to cope with than bright scars but that doesn’t mean that you can’t get to a stage where you fade them even further so that they aren’t noticeable at all.

My friend has really bright fresh stretch marks at the moment so she can’t understand why I’m not happy with my white ones that are no way near as noticeable as hers. I’m going to try everything I can to fade them even more, I’m not going to just rely on cream like you mention I need to put in some work too!
thanks
