As you know all our bodies react differently to stretch mark removal treatments just like we all have different stretch mark scars that vary in size, shape and texture.
There are 4 main factors that have an effect on how severe your scars will be and where they are more likely to form. Here they are below.
1. Hereditary
Your genes can play an important role in the development of stretch marks. If your parents and other members of your family have stretch marks then it increases the likelihood that you will develop them too. For the people that haven’t got any scars, if it seems inevitable you will get them because of family history then you can start taking measures to prevent stretch marks rather which is easier than trying to get rid of them.
2. Quick Changes in Body Weight
If you put too much stress on your skin too quickly, like muscle building or weight gain, then your skin can’t stretch as quickly as you are forcing it to. Once your skin reaches it’s limit of elasticity that’s when stretch marks are formed.
3. Skin Type
Dry skin types are more prone to stretch marks because the elasticity of skin is low in this state. Moisturizing your skin from within and from creams and oils will help improve dry skin.
4. Vitamin Deficiencies
Everyone always recommends to eat a healthy balanced diet as part of a stretch mark removal program and the main reason for that is because it does wonders for you skin. If it gets the right vitamins and minerals it needs then it will look and feel better.
There are 4 main vitamins and minerals that affect the health of your skin which are listed below.
1. Vitamin A – helps to regenerate skin and improve the elasticity.
2. Vitamin C – strengthens the skin and heals damaged skin.
3. Vitamin E – tightens and tones the skin and also has healing qualities.
4. Zinc – this mineral promotes the promotes the production of collagen which improves the structure of the skin and helps greatly with stretch mark removal.

I decided to become really fit and started going to the gym a lot. I just assumed that most people get stretch marks from weight gain and didn’t think that building up muscle too quickly would cause scarring. Well, now I know it does. Big time. So now I’m on a stretch marks removal mission!
Thanks for the info!
